I am Dan. I am a New Jerseyan from Mercer County. I will be entering the Peace Corps in Early August. Travelling to Sub-Saharan Africa as a Business Advisor! I went to college at the University of Vermont for Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship! If you haven’t noticed already, I’m the Dan the man with the master plan.

Daniel, Wow! I am so excited for you on your new venture. Like I mentioned to your dad, several guys from my church (Calvary Chapel in Old Bridge, NJ) visit Uganda most every year for missions work….they help build churches and meet the needs of those in the community. They usually are in northern Uganda and the Sudan area as well. I will be praying for you – I know this will be an experience of your lifetime! God bless you! Donna Z.

great blog Dan, im enjoying and remembering fondly ( and sometimes not so , re : frustrations ) my time in Africa. Hilarious that you’ve watched LOTR many times as we did ; in many ways your experience sounds very similar, it’s weird ( or maybe it’s us ? ) how similar much of Africa seems to be for volunteers.
